General Information (FAQS)

What type of content can I distribute?

  • Content for which you own the copyright or have a license to distribute

  • Covers Versions, if you have a license you must provide it to your label manager, otherwise we will take care of processing it correctly for distribution (It could include restrictions on territories and platforms).

You May NOT Distribute:

  • Content of which you are not the owner, or do not hold a license.

  • Content that contains samples of any type from another master that you do not have a license for (unauthorized Remixes, Mashups, DJ Sets).

  • AI-generated content that has been trained on copyrighted content.

  • Viral Audios from Social Networks.

  • You may not use Beats from YouTube tracks that you have not purchased and licensed.

At Audio Killers Distribution, we actively work to protect the copyrights of both our users and the industry at large.
If your account infringes any rights, it may be subject to termination and removal from all digital platforms.

How long will it take for my release to be approved and distributed to digital platforms?

  • Our team performs quality control of the content, if there are no errors to correct and the release is uploaded correctly, our approval process is 24 hours (Yes! It's incredibly fast!)

  • If there are any errors, corrections must be completed before we can send it.

When are payments for reports made and how are sales reports compiled?

  • You will receive your reports from the 1st to the 10th of each month, and payment will be made as soon as you request it through the indicated means (Paypal - Payoneer - USD/EUR Bank Account).

  • The different platforms send us reports on average with a delay of 2/3 months. We process that information and include it in your next report.

Can I migrate my old catalog?

  • Yes, you need your UPC and ISRC codes, as well as metadata, to properly migrate your catalog and maintain your statistics and playlist rankings on digital platforms.

How to use the platform?

  • You'll receive an onboarding process from your label manager, as well as a video tutorial on how to create your releases. Our platform is easy to use and intuitive, but there are still certain processes that must be followed and carried out correctly to ensure there are no delays or corrections when submitting your music to the platforms.

What happens if my content receives a copyright claim?

  • Our policy includes three strikes before permanently deleting your account and removing your entire catalog. However, if we detect any irregularities or malicious practices that could pose a risk, we may decide to remove the content to prevent any inconvenience.
